Yooribaya Cultural Experiences offers an important 'Welcome to Country' ceremony. In honour of being welcomed by a Traditional Owner of the land, the ceremony is a way of showing respect. As their personal guests on this land and in these waters, you will be included in this ceremony. They also have interactive workshops where your guests can immerse themselves in a unique and culturally rich experience. Guests have the opportunity to experience boomerang throwing, spear throwing, ochre painting, and learning the language, all while the team demonstrates and shares the history.
